“Another great morning harvesting and delivering at the Interfaith Garden.  The weather cooperated and the rain held off. See short report below (with lots of pictures!)”

From Amy: I want to pass along a message from Alix Bartsch, the beekeeper. Both hives died off over the winter (sadly) and last week she installed 2 new hives. Below is a picture of the queen in the left hive. At this time of year, she will lay 3000 eggs daily!!

Report from the Garden – March 25, 2023

Year 14 got a cold, raw start this morning. Yet, when I looked around, everyone was smiling. People were layered up and it didn’t matter much how cold it was. (Which kind of reminds me of that saying, “There is no such thing as bad weather—just inappropriate clothing.) I think all of us just felt good to get going. What did we do?
